How to track your blog traffic.
Tracking is simple; you just need to follow the simple steps, which I'm going to show you.
If you are using WordPress, then you just need to download a plugin called Google Site Kit.
1. To download the plugin, click on the “plugin” option in the menu. After that, click on Add plugin.
2. Now write “Google Site Kit” in the search bar, and click install Now button to install the plugin. After that, click on the Active button to activate the plugin.
O3. Once you have activated the plugin successfully, you will see a new Google Kit in the menu. Just click on that and then click on Sign in with Google.
4. Now select the Google account you wish to sign in with, then you need to give permission, and so on.
5. In the first step, click next, in the second step, click on next as well, and in the last step, click on the set up.
6. Now Just click on the set up Google Analytics.
7. Now, create a new account for Google Analytics. So in order to do that, you just need to click the dropdown menu and select set up new account.
8. Once you have added a name, just click on create account.
Select the name you want for the account, property, or web data stream. I would recommend keeping it as it is.
Make sure to keep the names unique because while you check traffic for the specific sites, if you have multiple analysis accounts created, then you need to select the account you want to see.
9. Again google will ask you to sign in, so just click on continue. After that google will ask for access of some services. Allow all and then click on continue.
10. Now make sure to read Google Analytics Terms of Service Agreement and then check the box and click on the agree button.
Scroll down and check the “I accept the Measurement Controller – Controller Data Protection Terms for the data that I share with Google.”
After that, click on “i Accept.”
Congratulations, you have successfully created and connected a Google Analytics account.
In the wordpress, you are just able to see a few traffic data. If you want to see more detailed data, then just follow the steps below.
1. First, you need to visit https://analytics.google.com/
2. Now you need to log in with the same account that you have used to create the analytics account in the wordpress.
