When it comes to blogging, most people think it is easy. However, they are not wrong at all. Once you get used to it, it becomes easier than you think. But as a beginner, you have to be very cautious about the steps you take in the early stages. If you come into this industry and you make a mistake, then it will take a long time to undo. So in this blog post, I'll be listing some beginner mistakes that you need to be aware of. So keep reading to know more about beginner mistakes, so you don't make those mistakes.
1. Don't have writing skills.
The first mistake people make is that even if they can't write, they just start to create a blog. They think they can use AI to write an article and publish it online. Even further, people think that if they can use ai that means they have a skill.
So if you don't have writing skills, don't just start a blog. first you need to learn to write before you even consider to create blog. The only way you can learn writing skills is by practicing by yourself.
2. Come with the wrong expectations.
most blogger comes with wrong expectations. They think that if their YouTube gurus can make money, then they could do it too. So what bloggers do is, they create a blog and write articles using AI and expect that they will make life-changing money. When they see reality after two or three years, it is already too late to let go of the old domain. Because they already spend money and time, they are bound to the domain and their blogs. That boundness doesn't let them make real progress. So before that happen they should start with the correct expectation.
Now understand this, your correct expectation should be to learn, not making money right after just getting out of bed. That approach gets you to the correct way. If you come up with a learning mindset, then you won't get disappointed. And if you make money while learning, then that would be a bonus.
3. Rely on the AI.
Before the AI, it was hard to write articles for beginners, and blogger need to learn the writing skill. But since AI comes into play, almost all new bloggers started to use AI to create content. Some people think it good thing, but only a few people think it is a bad thing. I would say relying on the AI won't do you any good at all. Even if you generate 100 of article still, if you don't get traffic from google then it would be useless.
I used to use AI to write content, but my sites never get any traffic at all. Though my five sites got approved but never made money in five years. So I have decided to delete my sites from AdSense and first learn to write article then I would get approved again. Now you might be thinking, I should have kept the site approved and learn writing. yes i could have done, but it was distracting me from learning writing. I was stuck on making work those things that could not work, basically, I was hoping I would make money one day.
4. Don't take time to learn.
Everything you want to do takes time and has learning a curve. Most people don't take time to learn at all. They just want to make money as quickly as possible without learning about blogs.
I didn't take the time learn blogging, that's why I got late and wasn't able to make money. But now I decide to learn things that I should have learn five years ago.
5. Start by watching others.
almost every body start their blog by watching others or learning from others. There is nothing wrong to start something by watching others. But it become mistake when you acpet same result as they get. Since you don't know what kind of strategy other using, how long did they spend time to learn? How many people do they have in their team?
If you are doing it by watching others, then make sure you understand that you can't get the same result they are getting.
conclusion
before jump in the first blog, make sure you learn everything you can. The most important skill is "writing". Don't just come to the blog because of make moeny, but come into the blogging industry for learning.
