A planning post in advance doesn't mean you are ready up what topics you write next. It's deeper than that. Or just prepare yourself before writing.
It is what you do to make yourself comfortable in your next writing. You don't just prepare a topic for writing next, but also you also prepare yourself mentally as well. For example, when you go out and see something that is related to your next topic, or you remember something about your topic, you just take notes about it. So you can write about the next topic.
How to plan your blog post in advance.
So first thing you do is, prepare your mind to write. If i give you my example, i have started many times and left to write completely. But as soon as I started to make my mind before writing, everything changed. I convince myself to write every day, even just 100 words; if I can't write 100 words, then just 50 words.
Your mind will give you all kinds of signals to stop, the classic is “who would read it”, “what am I getting out of it?”, i should spend time on something else and so on.
After that second is, prepare your topic. You don't want to copy other people's advice. Again, let me tell you about me. I used to copy other people's content. I used to read other people's content and try to write as they do. If you are doing that, then it will not work. I recommend writing in your style. Don't worry about how bad you are as a writer, just start.
Third is to write from your experience. Now this is very important. You don't just write from your experience that you got two days ago in advance but you have accumulated over the years. Here, advance means years of accumulated information that you didn't know at the time you will write in the future.
So now what can you do? You can start to gain experience that will help you to write after months without knowing. I'm talking about first-hand experience as I have.
And last but not least, forth. Your dont just plan your writing in by getting ideas from online, but you get ideas from reading words as well. As I talked about earlier, when you go out and see something about your topic then you will take notes, or while hanging with friends, you spark what to write in the article then you take notes in the phone as well.
