Section 2 — Writing & Content Improvement

So you have written some articles, but after that, you can't see any improvement. You don't know how to improve. If that is the case, then make sure to keep reading this post.

Define why you are writing.

Defining your “why” is very important because it can mess with your mind. And eventually it will stop you from writing. I'm saying this from my experience. I always start to write after two or three articles, and my mind always thinks, “Why would someone read it?” Because of that, I left before I could improve.

Whoever starts blogging or writing their “why” always aims to make money or rank on Google. As a beginner, if your “why” is to make money or rank on Google, then it will be the wrong approach.  As a beginner, your aim should not be to make money or rank.

What should be your “why”?

Your “why” should always be learning. When you start with making money and Google rank in mind, and if you don't achieve those. It would give signals to your mind that you cannot write or it is impossible to do it. Most importantly, when you see other people in the video, you know that they are achieving what you want.  It would act like petrol that makes you feel more worthless.

So learning should be your goal, not making money or ranking on Google at this stage. As you are comfortable with writing. Then you could focus on the money and grow, but still learning would be the first priority.

How to improve your writing.

Understand this, improving is not a one-time job. It is dynamic, and you always keep learning. You can improve as you write. For example, what I do is, I review my article every 10. As soon as I write 10 posts, I review those and if there is something I can improve or strip. I do that.

So the most important thing you can do is, keep writing regardless of word count, seo, or professional writing. As a beginner, your job is to keep writing without thinking about ranking and earning.

Why do I wait to write 10 posts?

I don't review my post until I write 10 because.

I am in the learning phase.

So I can see what needs to be improved clearly

I can see what I have improved.

What to improve

What kind of writer am I?

And so on.

Conclusion

Improving is not a one-time job, but you keep writing and keep improving. You can say that learning and improvement are a never-ending process.

The second thing is not to think about making money and ranking as you are learning. Know your actual position or how good you are as a writer.
